Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
In short: MirrorVO collects no data about you. It requires no account, does not track you, and contains no advertising network or analytics tool. The picture and sound you mirror never reach a server of ours.
Who publishes this policy
The MirrorVO app is developed and published by Veysel Öztürk, who is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.
For any privacy question or request: ozvey07@gmail.com
The picture and sound you mirror
Your screen image and audio are transferred directly between your phone and your TV, over your own local network.
This data is never sent to any server, never recorded by us, never seen by us and never shared with third parties. Temporary files created while mirroring stay on your phone and are deleted when the broadcast ends.
What stays on your phone
The app stores only the few things it needs in order to work. None of it leaves your device:
- Your preferences: the video quality you picked, whether audio is mirrored, and your fill-the-screen choice.
- The name and address of the TV you last used, so it can reconnect quickly next time.
- A usage counter: how many sessions you have run and their total length. This counter stays on your device and only reaches us if you send it yourself through Report a Problem.
- Whether you have purchased Premium.
- Crash information: if the app closes unexpectedly, the diagnostic report provided by iOS is kept on your phone. It reaches us only if you choose to send it through Report a Problem.
Local network access
The app asks iOS for local network permission so that it can find your TV. This permission is used only to discover cast devices on the same network and to connect to the one you choose.
Other devices on your network are not scanned or recorded, and your network traffic is not inspected.
What you send through Report a Problem
If you use the Report a Problem screen in the app, an email draft is prepared. It contains the description you write plus a technical summary: app version, phone model, iOS version, your quality setting, your Premium status, the on-device usage counter and, if a broadcast is running, its technical state.
You see all of this on screen before anything is sent, and the decision to send the email is yours. The app never sends anything by itself in the background.
When you send the email, your email address and what you wrote reach us. We use them only to resolve the problem you reported and to reply to you; we do not use them for marketing and do not share them with third parties. We keep such correspondence for at most 24 months and then delete it. The legal basis is the provision of support at your request.
The content you mirror, screenshots and your personal files are not part of this report.
Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see, receive or store your payment details.
The app receives from Apple only the fact of whether you are entitled to Premium, and keeps that on your phone. Apple's own handling of the transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Advertising, tracking and analytics
The app shows no advertising and contains no advertising network.
The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, does not access the advertising identifier, and does not track you across apps or websites. For this reason it also never asks for tracking permission.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from any user, whatever their age.
If information belonging to a child reaches us because they wrote to us for support, we delete it once we become aware.
Your rights
Because we collect no data about you, in most cases there is no record to access, correct or delete.
If you have written to us for support, you have the right to be informed about that correspondence, to access it, to have it corrected or erased, to object to its processing and to receive a copy of it. In the European Union and the United Kingdom these rights arise from the General Data Protection Regulation, and in Türkiye from Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Send your request to ozvey07@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the data protection authority in your country, and in Türkiye to the Personal Data Protection Authority.
Where data is held
The app itself transfers your data nowhere. Support emails you send us sit on our email provider's servers and are read from Türkiye.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and the date above changes.
If an update materially changes how the app handles data, we will also announce it inside the app.
Language of this text
This policy is published in several languages. The translations are provided for convenience; in the event of a discrepancy the Turkish text prevails.
